Professional License Exams

For the granting of a Professional License, participation in the exams of the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE) is mandatory.

The examinations for the granting of a license are oral, announced and conducted 3 (three) times a year (examinations start in February, June and October respectively). The announcement also sets the deadline for the submission of supporting documents by the candidates. The program is announced within twenty (20) days after the deadline.

The exam can be based on their thesis or an exam in three of the five sections for each specialty. Naval Engineers have three modules available while Planing and Development Engineers, Environmental Engineers, Mineral Resources Engineers and Production and Management Engineers are only examined on the basis of their thesis.

With the submission of the decisions of the Examining Committees and the granting of the license to exercise a profession by the President of the TEE or of its relevant Regional Department, the qualified Engineers who passed the exams are automatically registered in the Register of members of the TEE.
